Executive Team
Thomas Alvord founded LawHQ in 2019 after resolving to fight the obnoxious amount of telephone spam that he was receiving. He is an accomplished marketer and attorney with over a decade of experience. He previously co-founded Funded Today, a digital marketing firm that helps entrepreneurs capture pledges through managed crowdfunding campaigns. His work at Funded Today gave him deep insight into modern digital marketing practices - critical to LawHQ's success in uncovering the marketing practices of spammers. Thomas received a joint JD / MPA from Brigham Young University.
Michael McCartney joined LawHQ in 2021 as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. He is an accomplished general management executive with nearly 25 years of experience in marketing, business development, finance, technology, and operations. He has experience in building companies and is an expert on customer experience. His experience with digital marketing and affiliate marketing strategies aids in the development of technology and operational processes that reverse engineer spammers' standard operating practices. Michael received his BS in Computer Information Systems from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
